I wish this was a joke. It's not. Today, I got a phone call from a guy with the Kentuckiana Square Dance Association. I'm not sure if his group lobbies the government for more square dances or if they try to get people more involved with square dancing. Logic would suggest both, but I bet the world of square dancing is a) very exclusive and b) very political, so I wouldn't be at all surprised if there were two separate PACs lobbying the Kentucky legislature, one representing each idea above. If case you're wondering, yes, they have a website. Without looking, would you guess there are or are not crude animations of people square dancing on the page? If you answered "there are," you win a prize. Your prize is this awesome patch to put on your special square dancing jacket. If you don't have a square dancing jacket or if yours is at the dry cleaner, put it on your blue corduroy FFA jacket from high school.
