It's a Jeep Thing. Nobody Gives a Shit.
I don't own a Jeep. I've never really wanted to. I'm sure it's a fine automobile on par with most any domestic line of vehicles. The Jeep is probably a little more prestigious than, say, an Oldsmobile. Probably a little less prestigious than anything Cadillac makes. We're agreed? So, where do these Jeep owners get off with their condescending little car stickers that say, "It's a Jeep Thing. You Wouldn't Understand." I'd like to drive right up alongside a Jeep owner a la Grey Poupon, roll down my window (I don't have those fancy electronic windows), and say, "Hey, I couldn't help but notice your sticker while I was behind you. You do realize that I and the other 20 non-Jeep drivers behind me couldn't give two shits about your Jeep, right? It's not that we don't understand -- we don't care. Get over yourself." In my fantasy after that little exchange I'd throw an open sack of cat poop inside their precious Jeep and speed away. Jeep owners bug me.
